In 2002, the Director of the National Ossolinski Institute, together with the grandchildren of Prince Andrzej Lubomirski, signed a solemn decision to begin the process of reconstructing the Museum of the Lubomirski Princes within the Ossolineum. This finally happened in 2007, when the Sejm of the Republic of Poland adopted amendments to the Act on the Foundation - the National Ossolinski Institute.
